Unusual to have a whole film in technicolour from this period on You Tube and I don't recall this one at all, but a dramatic opening and flashback makes me think it might be worth a watch. Janet Munro of course died tragically young.
Great cast with lots of familiar names. Alan Badel amongst them. Screenplay by Dixon of Dock Green's - Ted Willis.
Also lots of period background detail. Twelve minutes in there is a sequence which copies the old Camay advert. ( Yes, Judy!) And the pink bath in a bathroom interior must have been right at the cutting edge then.
And is that clarinet music Acker Bilk? Certainly sounds like.
