I managed to avoid all but the last part , thanks to MOTD , however, the interminable, ultra weird new voting system - which should tell you everything you want to know about the Byzantine methods of making anything decided by a European committee as transparent as a pea souper.
As for the winning song from Portugal I will leave it to others on here to judge. However, I have seen better dressed people sitting on the pavement oustside the local unemployment office than these two. Come on guys - (was she his mother btw?) , if Ronaldo can make an effort surely you can?
As for the show itself - although only partially seen - I noticed that political correctness had even got it's dubious and sticky tentacles into this show (Gee thanks, Brigadier!). Writ large all over the place were daft banners proclaiming "Celebrate Diversity". Presumably this is why the lovely female presenters from various countries were deliberately kept at long distance by the camera preventing male chauvinist pigs like me from some welcome visual relief from the pair of somewhat strange male presenters in tandem who allowed me to write this final summing up of the show in just five words.
Eurotrash presented by the autistic!
