So Patricia is prepared to answer questions and all these Robin Hood experts have nothing to ask? Amazing!
As I am not an expert on Robin Hood series I have nothing to ask myself but would like to say as someone who watched the series when it was first aired I would like to say that I was always captivated by Patricia's beauty and gentle acting ability. But then I would think she captured every man's heart from the first time she appeared on TV. |

Patricia Driscoll's Feelings About More Recent Robin Hood Series | ||
|
I'd love to know whether she's seen and has an opinion on Robin of Sherwood and the current Robin Hood-particularly their handling of the Marian character. I personally thought Judi Trott was fabulous and loved the fact
that she and Robin actually married.
Luci Griffiths-not so much. I've tried and tried but just can't buy the way her Marian is written. And I still can't figure out what the writers/producers were thinking by killing Marian at the end of the second series.

I hope I'm not too late on this, but I'm curious if Ms. Driscoll could comment on some of the supporting actors like Victor Woolf, John Dearth, Gabriel
Toyne, Willoughby Gray, Charles Stapley and some of the other actors who appeared as multiple characters. To me, these were the "unsung heroes" of
the series, really good "utility" actors who could step into various roles. I wonder, also, if Patricia might know of the whereabouts of Simone
Lovell who played Joan on the series.

Why not ask Patricia Driscoll about the medallion?

I have two questions which you may already have asked. First, when Patricia became Marian was she asked to play the part any differently from Bernadette
O'Farrell? Second, does Patricia know why the series ended after the fourth series?

What I would like to ask is what memories does Patricia Driscoll have of the cast in both major and minor roles; was it fun to do; what, if any, were the
downsides of filming in the 1950's, and how did she come to get the part? Also did she retain any items of memorabilia from the show?
