OK pop pickers and those who can remember Saturday Club, an act that seemed to appear on this show regularly was Wout Steenhuis.Wout came from Holland but settled in England . Famous for his virtuoso performances on the Hawaiian guitar a sort of European Les Paul, with his multi-track performances.
He was also popular on the variety club cirucit where his material ranged from top-twenty songs to ballads and Hawaiian music and included vocals, not just in English but also French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Hawaiian and Maori.
Apparently his BBC Radio 1 and 2, broadcasts exceeded 1000 appearances and he even appeared on TV. He also made 27 L.P.s with EMI, Philips and Polydor. I wonder do others recall him and does anyone know what became of him?.

Here's a little pic' taken from an album cover of
Wout's which may jog the memory cells !
