This is very strange. Last night as I lay in bed and was just dropping off, a name floated into my head for no reason at all and which I hadn't heard or
thought of for at least thirty years. The name was Oscar Rabin and he used to have a band which was very popular in the early and mid fifties and was regularly
on the wireless or TV.

Before I posted this I took a look at a name on the "Gone But Not Forgotten" thread and that was Danny Moss the jazz saxophonist. How peculiar then to see that Danny Moss had once played with the Oscar Rabin band.
When I took a further look at Oscar Rabin and his outfit, another name cropped up who I vaguely remember seeing a few times singing on TV. Dennis Hale, Oscar's vocalist. He was a South African who got killed in a car crash.
Does anyone remember Oscar and his band and Dennis Hale?
