An other thread Kenny says "I also believe that our civil rights are stronger in our time than they ever have been before".
This is well worth a debate as a thread on its own -do you believe they are.....or not? I am due out in a mo so will come back with my own thoughts on this later. |

The statement is probably true on the whole. But one person's civil right is another person's restriction. Those whose 'civil rights' to
discriminate against women, immigrants, the poor, the elderly and the disabled are being legitimately eroded by progressive legislation are the ones who,
despite it all, still have the greatest ability to voice their grievances in the public media.
