Smouldering quietly away in the background was a type of glamorous brunette which Pinewood and Elstree must have had a cloning factory for in the very early sixties. Didn't know her although vaguely familiar so looked her up. Found it was one, Katya Douglas. Pretty short career, born in Poland -1938.
Highlight, starring in the TV series "Zero One" with Nigel Patrick. This series ran from 1962 to 1965 and was based on adventures around airport security and investigations.
Can't remember it at all. Do any other Turnips?
P.S. "Murder at the Gallop" was made in 1963. This was the last year in William Brown's chauvinist opinion when British women film actresses were really, really, real. Discuss.
