Following Harry's quite recent retirement, his portfolio was picked up by the V&A who have commissioned the author Alwyn Turner to put together a 400 photo book of the best of Harry's work. Provisional title: Halfway To Paradise. The Birth of British Rock n Roll.
As September 2008 will mark the 50th Anniversary of the launch Jack Good's Oh Boy! The V&A are hoping to publish the book around that time to coincide with the anniversary. There are many, never before seen photos of Oh Boy, 6-5 Special, Drumbeat, The NME Awards at Wembley amongst others.
I have been involved in helping Alwyn name some of the names in some of the photo's and I have to say they are outstanding. They are pin-point quality of many never before published photos.
