Posts: 14 (Mon, 1-Oct-07 12:26:54) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Hi Turnips I am writing my autobiography (mainly to let my grandchildren know what life was like 50/60 years ago) and I have come to the "comics" part of my story. I would like to include a short extract from some of my favourite stories - I already have an extract from an old, original, Alf Tupper (see www.toughofthetrack.net/) - and I wonder if anyone has a copy of an old Wizard that includes a Wilson story. I have great faith in all you Turnips out there and I hope that someone will respond positively to my request. Thanks Scotty

Posts: 155 (Mon, 1-Oct-07 14:59:19) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Ah yes,he would do a double shift,have triple fish and chips and run to the Meeting only to discover that the other runners were already at the start so joining the race a lap down and running in his work clothes and boots he'd set off ,catch the rest of the field and "pip" the leader to the line with inches to spare. That's the problem with our athletes today,they've had it too easy.
