Here's a link to possibly the greatest site for those of us looking to create our own music library - you name it - it's here, big bands, jazz, country, 50s,60s etc - just about everything you could wish for - a must for musical greats past and present.....enjoy.

Agree Mirkwood, must have took a lot of work to put that gem of a site together - but will explore over the coming weeks - looks as if there are some rare artistes to be looked into.

Banner, This site is definitely the best music selection site I have ever seen on the Web.
For those who haven't yet looked at it, don't miss out. The menu is staggering. May I just recommend one little section I've dabbled with for mainstream fifties music lovers. If you scroll down the left hand column of the home page until you come to the heading "Wav Music". Under this is a sub section "J D Hays Crooners Collection". Don't be put off by the old fashioned sounding title. Just take a look and a listen to all the great artists both male and female who are featured in full length Wav files and the selection of tracks available. Marvellous! Just like inheriting all those fifties LP's you never bought but wished you had. Don't take my word for it, just go there and see. |
