Now that we have a very easy profile which allows us upload things, why not put your favourite games onto it? I've uploaded a Chariot race and SPQR to
mine...and there's one I'm trying to remember and I'll up load that when the little grey cells kick in (thinks, must eat more fish) but I think it
might be a good idea to tell people about it in here so we know where to look

A very good suggestion, pat. I seldom get around to revisiting such things as message-board "profiles", so a nudge does not come amiss!
That SPQR site, though...: the lands of England, Scotland and Wales increasingly came under the sway of Rome Such phraseology always raises my pedantic hackles: when Rome "held sway" the English were still in today's Denmark/Germany, the Scots were in Ireland, and the Welsh had not yet had the name "foreigners" bestowed on them by the post-Roman Germanic invaders of Britain. Have you ever been to Second Life's "Roma"? There are wall signs there written in English, but when you question this with the denizens of the region they tend not to have the least idea of what you are talking about...

Not wishing to out-pedant you, Mr F, but the quote from SPQR clearly reads "......the LANDS of England, Scotland etc..........."
Perhaps the natives of those lands had yet to arrive, wrest them from the Romans and claim them for themselves.
