Lo and behold it has now turned up on the Music thread. I am seeking the exact year for this look girls. Any precise answers, please? The only thing missing is a little white cloche hat.

Dr. Andrea "Carroll" Hill is a licensed clinical psychotherapist with a practice in Burbank, CA. She has also taught acting for many years at Weist Barron Hill studios in Burbank. She didn't appear on the scene until the early '60s, so I would put that picture at about 1962. I can remember my older sister dressing like that in 61/62.

My own research had pinned it down to either 1962 or 63. I know it wasn't 1961. I am going for 1962. Almost sure that's the year but open to 1963? Andrea was actually 16 in 1962 which seems to make that favourite. 1963 was the last glorious year of true femininity in fashion. RIP.
