When I look back over all the number one hits of the fifties, sixties and seventies, I can remember all of them clearly except for one. The one that was a
blank was number one in April 1953 when I was eleven. It is "Broken Wings" by the Stargazers. It meant nothing to me whatsoever.
I have just searched for it and listened to it on You Tube and I honestly dont remember it. Not only that, I'm convinced I've never heard it before either. So what was I doing around April 1953 not to hear it on the radio or somewhere? It's a complete mystery to me.
Have any others a number one hit they cant remember?
