That's taken me back to my teens and 20s. Anthony Newley's song of course, but also the scene when Newley is seen in a London record shop. It was
Imhofs at the top of New Oxford Street, near Tottenham Court Road station, where I spent many a hard earned shilling. Upstairs was a hi-fi showroom where it
was possible to listen to various combinations of equipment prior to choosing my first big stereo sound set-up.
